Good luck Greg. Troubleshooting at times can be extremely frustrating. I worked on a neighbor's JD A a few years back. Electrically it had 6 shorts from the battery to the points. Took 2 weekends to get the durn thing to fire again properly.

It was a fairly typical Northern Ireland farm where the main enterprise was dairying but some pigs, poultry and sheep were also kept.
