Do not use HyTran in your rearend! The bearings won't get the proper amount of lubrication. These tractors were designed for heavy weight gear lube. HyTran will probably work, but when you push the clutch the gears will keep going and going and going and you will have to grind it into gear.

I use 85W-140 gear lube in my H and it slides into gear right away with no grinding. 90 weight will work too. And it holds 6 gallons.
