Tim - My father in law's 234 did not have the husking bed. Rather the corn was husked after it arrived at the freezer plant. Our land is NOT flat - it's mostly glacial moraine with some river bottom. I never had the pleasure of running the Super M picker (only the PS-equipped 1650). But judging from the size of my father in law, manually steering the Super M outfit - especially on gravelly side hills - required outstanding upper body strength! Note also the Super M had been "hot rodded" somewhat. I recall it dyno'd at 51 - 52 HP back then (vs 43 in it's stock form) and that was plenty to run the 234. ...Bob M
