I think that 5 PSI pressure on most fuel tanks would be on the high side of safe. 40 to 50 PSI for a fuel tank- absolutely no way!! If using air pressure, start very low and work up slowly. These folks who do "paintless dent removal" might have some tricks for dent removal for the tank.
