My horse is a 6 year old gelding. 5 Star appolusa on the stud side and mixture (not sure) on mare side. I can find out for sure becuase I know the original owner. He has papers on the stud he is out of, and should know the mare side too. He is white with spots mainly on the front shoulder area. He is not a real big horse (guessing in the 14 to 15 hands area). He was broke by a young kid (about 17), his grandfather helped him. Kid didn't have a place to keep him and sold him to a cousin. The cousin basically road him with other horses and quit frankly I don't think done much with him. I ride him, but not as much as I should therefore he is a little green from not being road real regular. The horse acts like he would be a good cutting horse. I got $800 invested and live in Kansas. At this point I would have to have $800 which might sound high, but it won't cost me much to keep him to spring and put 30 days riding on him and probably get more out of him. Saddle horse market tends to come up in spring and I got the hay. No need for me to take a loss and sell him in the middle of winter.
