Our F-20 was not used much in the later years, and when we needed it, it usually had a stuck valve or two. I would remove the valve cover and soak the stems down with penetrating oil and use a big old screw driver or small flat bar and work the stuck valve up, crank the engine, which would push the valve back down, and again work the valve back up, until it worked freely. Then I would start the engine and squirt engine oil on all the stems, and oil the felt wicks. When was the last time you oiled the wicks through the oil caps in the valve cover? You must oil the valves this way as the engine does not "self oil" the valve train.
