I always considered the cub a yard tractor. My buddy has one that has a belly mower on it. Tractor never leaves the yard. He only mows with it. The A is the next size bigger, but not by much. Won't come close to comparing to the H or 9n. Adding a 3 point to the H would allow you to probably use the same 3 point equipment on the H and 9n. If you had equipment for the A it would probably be a handy little sucker, but was Farmalls smallest tractor intended for field work in my opinion. But maybe just for small garden plots, it would be ideal for you. Especially in addition to your H and 9n.
