For cultivating the Farmall Cub is great little tractor, so is the farmall A or Super A. My dad said, they wore out 2 cubs on the farm when he was a kid. They worked 10 acres of tobacco with them along with all the vegetables that were grown to support the family of 13 on a 120 acre farm in VA. We have a cub and a farmall super a. I like them both. Turning and discing are slow with the Cub. But for cultivating and listing small gardens like what you have mentioned, they can't be beat. One thing about them, if you buy it and are not satisfied, you will have no problem getting your money back out of it and probably even make a little money. Go for it. You will really enjoy it.
