Isn't Perham just north of Rush and OtterTail lakes, SE of Detroit Lakes a bit? I used to spend a little time on Rush Lake many summers ago. The thing I remember best about those fishing trips is the cheap locally brewed beer, bottled in recycled bottles that came from God only knows where. Some of those bottles looked like they'd rolled around in the back of a gravel truck for a few years before being reused.
