--Don't ya play with me cause you're playin' with fire-- I took the tank off my IH H, had a huge dent in it. Washed it out with water for an hour. drilled a small hole, and used a small slide hammer. Tap around the dent. Took most of it out. Found some metal mender at an auto parts store-wasn't J.B. weld. Stuff got really hot. Filled the hole in good. Use body filler on the rest. Came out nice. I knew YES KNEW a guy who used to weld on tanks. He used to rinse then out with water for several hours, and leave some water in them. Did a very nice job on my C. He tried to use some kind of solvent to clean one out before welding one, didn't empty the solvent out and blew himself up. At least that's what his family told us. WHEN IN DOUBT, FIND A PROFESSIONAL! Some radiator shops that patch them could probably take a dent out. AG
