Steven: I think you can tell the flavor of what people think of this situation from all the rest of the messages, including my previous one. When I originally saw the posts on Tractor Talk, I immediately thought "what a couple of jerks!" Just for the heck of it, I just went back and checked the IP addresses, and Redman's and Full of Bull's were only off by 1 number.....at least now I can be fairly confident that it's only one jerk using two different handles. Don't let one idiot ruin your faith in the rest of us--we come to these boards because we love old tractors and the camadarie that comes from owning them and sharing that enthusiasm with others. A significant portion of that sharing is the passing on of knowledge--from one generation to the next, one state to the next, and even between countries. Without this, we would soon lose the collective memories of thousands of people, all of whom have something (be it ever so small) to contribute. Keep posting--if you post for the same reason I do, it's because every thought shared comes back twenty times over, and every person you help (or even sincerely attempt to help) means that another small piece of knowledge has been preserved for future tractor lovers.

"Run in the house and get me a...."as I open th
