I have a 110,000 BTU kerosene torpedo heater in My 24 X 36 X 8 shop. This aft. it was 30 deg. inside and in about 10 min. I had it up to 65. Of course I've spent about $400 for drywall & insulation in the last 3 weeks. Nice thing about a kerosene heater is You can shut it off.... wait a couple minutes and it's cool... close up shop and go in the house & be certain it's safe. Wood stove takes a couple hours to cool off. I have a small 40,000 BTU LP torpedo heater I can use also but the kerosene just seems more convienient.
