Just moved into my new shop. I installed a 100,000 BTU propane radiant hanging heater. It is about the size of a florescent light fixture. Works great, burns about a gallon of propane an hour. Only draw back is that you need good clearances from any combustable, so it might not work in every case. Yesterday it was -11 degrees. Took about 20 minutes to warm up enough to work is just shirt sleeves. Heats the objects not the air.
