I-4 was narrower because of rear wheels. I-4: wheelbase 66 3/4", height 62 3/4", width 58 7/8", rear tread 46 1/8", turning radius 10 ft. W-4: wheelbase 66 3/4", height 62 7/8", width 65 1/4", rear tread 52", turning radius 11 ft. So with standard wheels & tires the I-4 is 6 3/8" narrower than the W-4. Standard tires were: I-4 5:50 x 16 multi rib front, 12 x 24 rear. W-4 5:50 x 16 single rib or three rib front, 12 x 26 rear. Several optional front and rear sizes were available on both models but all optional rear I-4 tires were 24" and all rear optional on W-4 were 26". W-4 was also available on 22 1/2" x 3 1/2" steel front and 40" x 8" steel rear wheels. I-4 was not available with steel wheels from factory, even during the war. Harold H
