Farmall Model A starting problem

Just changed starting from hand crank to starting motor, now most frequently won't start. Sometimes if flooded I remove plugs and put in clean ones will start, but now seems to be a lack of gas. I use magneto not distributor, plenty of spark and seems to be timed correctly. Any help greatly appreciated.
