Gary, you may just have a dead short.Somthing was turned on or drawing power from the bat for you to see a spark,did you leave the key on? How old is your battery,and check how many cold cranking amps it is.If you put the charger on for an hour it should be sufficient to start the H.If it still dosn't start check for a short.
