Any kind of W40 is costly unless you sneak up on it. One sold on an auction here this fall with a cracked block, shattered manifold, full steel,loose, and real rough tin. I was expecting two, maybe twenty five hundred, it sold for thirty seven hundred. I got a nice set of road wheels for my W40 there, $190 a piece. So I have an extra set of standard rear steel if you get it. Rosewood Machine was offering new manifolds at $1100. It is true that they are very expensive to repair, but if you want a nice one it will also cost you in a painful way. Very rewarding tractor when it is running however, they really are a big horse.
