I used a 140 with a front blade to plow snow for more than 10 years. Power was never a problem. Traction is because snow is slick. So you don't want your set up to create any additional resistance like having to push the front wheels through the snow before the blade gets there. If you only have a few inches of snow, it won't matter, but if you have a foot or more, I'm afraid you will need the blade on the front.
