Game Plan for Super A

OK Guys-here's the latest on the A. Today my buddy Big Jim and I began a tear-down of her. We strongly suspect the problem is in the tranny. I intend to do a complete re-build of the engine;upgrade her to 12 volt and fix whatever is wrong with the tranny and cost will be no factor for me to get her up,running and home again.I'll keep you guys posted and when she comes across the Finish line I'll zap a report off and a few pics as well !! Thanks to all who responded and especially Gary who hit the nail on the head with his prognosis of the problem.
