I&T manual says Champion 15A A C 85S Autolite BT8 I run AC C86 in mine and bad plugs could be the cause of your problems As far as carb adjustments go , big one on the bottom is the main jet I would start at about 1 and 1/4 turns out , and the idle screw on the top, 1 turn. PUT new plugs in it before you try anything . Not sure about adjustments My tractor is out in the garage along with the operator's manual and its + 4 degrees out there. This is for a MarvelShebler carb Book says you could have a Carter or Zenith too
