Ty, you have to adjust the adjusting screw at the bottom of the brake pan. Undo the jamn nut and turn the screw in..it won't go all the way in , it will go against the band and hold the band in place..then tighten the jamn and it should improve your brakes. You didn't mention the clevis', they may have to be adjusted as well to get good brake..and the both pedals should be adjusted so they are equal on both sides...good luck..Mike in Exeter Ontario
