Thanks for the good advice gene. I put everything back together today and I did as you said and bent the bands a little to fit the drums. The drums are nice with no scratches so I left them alone. She stops very nice now! Hello Hugh- I was waiting for you to chime in:) Right now I am thinking of getting my sap buckets out as we have a break in the weather. By the way, I just replaced a 25 year old battery cable on a tractor and I thought of you and your preaching about how they do go bad. You are absolutely right. It looked fine, but when I replaced it (and not the battery)she started like she had a new battery. -Phil

Memories of an IH Super A When I was ? up to 10, I worked on my Papaw's farm in Greeneville, TN every summer. As I grew older (7), it was the thrill of my day to ride or drive on the tractor.
