The way I look at it there is an up side and a down side to cussing at tractors. The down side is my wife refuses to help me when I work on them, so I am usually outside by myself for hours on end. I am petitioning her to take pictures for me this weekend so I can get the hydraulic's put back together correctly, but I'm not sure I've won her over yet. Now for the upside. When you rack your knuckles in the winter it hurts more. Ergo, you cuss louder and the wife can here you in the house (I have an attached garage. I was told that I had to put up a heated out building if I was going to work on my tractors anymore (she is also afraid that I will burn down the house trying to improve the operation of some of my mechicanical equipment).
