The standard M was a mass produced tractor for the many years that it was produced. In the early to mid 50's Farmall / IHC discontinued the standard letter series. Started making the super letter series but for only a couple or three years. This would include the super M, super MD and super MDTA and so on. If factory LP was not an option (and I believe it wasn't but don't know for sure) is why the LP is not a saut after model. If it was a conversion type deal, then anybody could take a typical super M and convert it to LP and no extra value would be added except for perhaps parts. As far as adding extra value to a tractor would depend on factory release and how rare that it actually is. A super MTA is somewhat rare in itself, a super MDTA even rarer, but if no super MLPTA was released from factory, then it doesn't even fit into the catagory. If LP was an after market conversion, then don't even count on it adding any extra market value as to being a rarity. If considerable amount of money is tied up in the conversion, you might see that back, but I wouldn't expect much more. To my knowlegde, a super M was not released from factory with LP. If that is true then you are simply barking up the customized tractor tree and probably not going to gain much. Customized tractors, even though they might be rare, are not going to bring the being from factory rare prices.
