Mounting on the steering post does not do the throttle any good unless you have the after-market friction type. The action of the umbrella will mess up throtle when hitting a bump or even the wind will move the post enough. Best place is make a bracket that will mount it right behind the seat. Some mounted them on the seat but that wasnt the best either as i always got on by swinging leg over the seat to get on. There are some that are off-set. These would be neat.
