The throttle lever is a common wear part,the original had really no way to fix it if it wore,but I have seen people sharpen the part on the lever that slides in the teeth on the round cover,they also made after market ones that looked just like original ones but they had on the lever a little square piece that you could turn over if it wore any,and the round cover had square teeth,but the one you have is I'm about 99.9% sure is ater market.
