Finding a piece of Canary Grass in the flow hole is telling me that your leaving the system open to the elements, it hasn't been cleaned, or both.

If you haven't cleaned the fuel system back to the source, then every time you to try to start it, more crud will more than likely plug something up.

And then again, maybe I'm misreading something here.
