My Daughter's B

My daughter has a B (no year -- no I.D. tag) with fluid oozing out around the left rear wheel -- seal, I guess. Anybody ever replace one of these on a B (or an A would be similar)? How tough to do? My service manual explains a bit, but is kinda vague. Thanks!
