Fred and Geoff have given you very good advice. Watch the suspension of the TOWING vehicle. When it settles a little, try it out. If it handles well your all set. If it does not, fix it now!! You can get in a whole heap of doo doo real fast out on the blacktop. The chains and binders mean little when you are up to you ho hoes in alligators. Do not tailgate!!!! Plan extra time when transporting machinery. It will put you in the right frame of mind so that you do not go ballistic when some idiot tries to cut you off or run over you. Deacon Dick Stoyell, mrih@webtv.net, told me the secret of professional driving years ago. You drive your vehicle, and the next five vehicles nearest you, and you will not have any problems. He is right!
