I have the same frustration as the others posting here. There is one more thing to try and it has been more successful for me than the "mechanical" solutions. I live in a really rural area, just a few deputies patrolling. Went and talked with the sheriff in his office. Told him that most of these doing this stuff like to brag about it. Offered to pay $100.00 to informant who identified those who tore up my box. Sheriff put the word out at the 2 high schools. Got the paper to donate space for his ad. Did not identify me nor my location. Lots of snitches, lots of perpetrators caught. Really put the brakes on the vandalism. But they did not find the ones who tore up my box, so I never paid anything. Been about 3 years now since I had box damage.
