Bluelight, I have a B250 which is the little brother of yours. When I bought it it hadn't run in 8 years..it smoked at start up and seemed to smoke a lot even after it had been running.Well I kept putting injector cleaner in it with every tankfull and I put a new thermostat in it, changed filters, pulled the pan and cleaned it etc... the usuall maintenance..and the more I use it the better it is working..it isn't smoking after it is warmed up..I believe it was simply dirty injectors and as I use it and put injector cleaner in it it just gets better, starts better and runs wide open better..so ..not saying it couldn't be burning some oil, but if it is warmed up good and at half throttle or more you don't see a lot of smoke I'd jump in...I saw a B250 in good condition advertised in the Western Ontario Farmer and the guy wanted $4900..it had a loader too...good luck from Mike in Exeter Ontario
