what a great board!

OK, I'll admit it. I don't read this board every day. But when I do read it I always come away thinking what a great read it has been. And I know many people have said good things about this board before but I couldn't resist saying it again. I mean just review with me:
First I find that someone named Steven H apologized for typing bad language. Where else would you find someone willing to do that? But that's not all. Turns out the people running the board wouldn't even let his bad words stay on the board. What other board does that?
But it doesn't stop there. Turns out that none other than Roger Welsch himself pays a visit. Well turns out it is a second visit. So I keep reading to find out what it was that prompted the second visit. So I keep reading to find the negative remarks about Roger's book(s). That makes me think, let's pretend for a minute that Roger's book(s) are not good. That tens of thousands of people read and buy them (or buy and read them) lacking good taste in books. It doesn't matter. Roger is still going to be tempted to get a big(ger) head and a big(ger) ego. But even if that's true he still takes the time to visit the board and joke around and answer questions even though he is now a famous author.
Since I am a teacher and it is a Saturday afternoon let me go just a bit farther and offer this explanation for the person who didn't like Roger's book(s). I think this explanation works if we can compare Roger to Mark Twain. If one read only the material Mark Twain produced in the last ten years of his life one probably wouldn't come away with knowing a good author. But if you got to know Mark Twain by reading his work from the beginning you would know him better and understand and appreciate even better his later work. Wait now, I am not saying Roger is nearing the end of his life. I am saying if anyone reads his first book(s) that person will understand and appreciate even more his latest work(s).
Wow, is that ever a long winded way to say, "Keep up the good work, Roger, and all the good people who post here." I am not a farmer and I own only one tractor but this board brings to me a good part of the enjoyment I get out of that tractor.
Thanks again.
