Worked on a computer at my credit union, which always returned to the same screen after each transaction. You could clearly read that screen, even with the monitor off! Screen savers are designed to keep the screen active, so the image doesn't "burn" on. Good idea, and perhaps changing savers from time to tie would be wise too.
