Mike -That 1-1/2" long cylindrical piece was missing entirely from the shifter on my Super H, and a carriage bolt subsituted for the longer cross pin. Naturally the shifter was quite sloppy! Unable to locate the proper replacements locally, I simply made my own. For the shorter, fat pin I cut a 1-1/2" length out of a 3/4" bolt, then drilled a 3/8" hole thru the middle. For the longer pivot pin used a 3/8" allen head cap screw I think 2-1/2" long - however a regular 3/8" bolt would work fine too. Since I made the repair a couple years ago, the shifter has been working like new ...
