We have several of these old rakes on our ranch(one in working order that we pull with a tractor for small areas), and I got a kick out of the "rust brown color" statement, since that's what ours have been as long as I can remember too!
If anyone could post a color picture of one of these in original colors it would be greatly appreciated!
Just a side note- through a land purchase I recently acquired a few JD rakes of this same style(12ft. rakes with the large metal spoked wheels), and they all have halfway-decent green paint on them, with yellow wheels. Anyone know when JD(or IH) quit producing these rakes?
