I have a 1944 Farmall A with manual Lifts. On mine anyway, the cultivators and the land plow (and snow plow) use a different set of hand lifts. The handlift for the culitvators on mine mounts under the gas tank, and the lift for the plows mounts like how Dave BN stated in his post. What do you have for lifts? I am sorry that I don't have any pictures with the plow all hooked up, and the plow is buried in the shed untill spring and I can't get to it all that well yet as well as my tractor is apart for engine repairs. If it can wait, I might be able to get some pictues in the spring, when my father hooks up his land plow on his A. I can get pictues of just the hand lift that is on the tractor if that would be of any assistance. Good Luck.
