Clipper: You may be right, and if that be the case for driving pleasure a good horse and driving buggy would be the answer. Had this discuccion one day with a Mennonite. I suggested they may have it right as their transportation doesn't cause this greish-blue haze in air. He replied," If you guys all went to horse and wagon, horse manure would then become the problem." One thing about the horses,I'd be willing to bet they wouldn't create the conjestion their drivers do. My dad told me once about his uncle, used to go to town some 20 miles away, would get stoned drunk, his friends would load him in buggy and horse always landed him home safely. Dad was giving a little lecture on the fact we no longer had that luxury.
