THERE ARE MANY COMPANYS OUT THERE THAT STILL GALVANIZE! I FOUND 96 IN OHIO ALONE! IT IS COSTLY, BUT ADD IT UP! I HAVE A GUY THAT WILL SANDBLAST ALL FOUR RIMS FOR $50.00. A QUART OF GOOD PRIMER IS $10.00. A QUART OF GOOD DUPONT SILVER/ALUMINUM PAINT IS $20.00. MY TIME AND LABOR ISN'T WORTH NOTHING (BUT IT IS; WE ALL JUST SAY THAT)! I FOUND A COMPANY THAT WILL DO ALL FOUR RIMS FOR $150.00! I AM PUTTING NEW TIRES ALL THE WAY AROUND. AFTER JUST TWO YEARS THAT PAINT JOB CAN SCRATCH, CHIP, AND FADE! THE GALVANIZE WILL BE THERE FOR MY ENTIRE LIFETIME! IF I WAS GOING TO RESTORE AND RETIRE MY 1939 FARMALL A PAINT MIGHT BE FINE! NOT TO MENTION KEEP EVERYONE AND THE SUN AWAY FROM IT; TO PREVENT SCRATCHES, CHIPS, AND FADING! NO WAY! I USE MY "A" EVERY YEAR TO FARM EIGHT ACRES. EVERY YEAR IT PLOWS WITH A ONE BOTTOM 12" MOUNTED PLOW, PULLS A 6' RODERICK LEAN DISC, THEN PULLS A 8' CULTIMULCHER. WHEN THE HARD WORK IS DONE IT GETS TO PLAY WITH A TWO ROW IH PULL TYPE CORN PLANTER OR A 8' JOHN DEERE FB-B GRAIN DRILL DEPENDING ON THE YEARS ROTATION. THROUGH ALL THAT I BELEIVE THAT PAINT JOB WILL NOT LAST AND AFTER A HOSE DOWN THE GALVANIZE WILL STILL SHINE! YES I BELEIVE GALVANIZE IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO!

With Ben, anyway, I can tell! He'll be busy working and I’m handing him tools and he says, "give me that..." and I’ve already got it in his hand or "hand me that....."and I’ve got the portable light right where he needed it placed to see. "Run in the house and get me a...."as I open th
