About 15 years ago I was on my way home from the city where I worked as a Ford mechanic, and at a stop sign there was an aluminum hand truck, like the kind the soda trucks use. There was a guy on a motorcycle looking at it, so I asked what was up. He said it was just laying there. I asked if he planned to put it on his motorcycle, and he allowed as that was not too practical. So I threw it in the back of my pickup and took it home. No phone number or name on it. My kids took it to the annual auto parts swap show and worked all day hauling stuff for people who bought stuff they couldnt carry. At the end of the day they were exhausted, but had made over $200. The repeated this for a few years, and that hand truck still works good, and I still use it. I now take it to Hershey PA for the big flea market each year. It's light and has big tires, so it is perfect.
