thanks for all the replys fellows. it's not that i want to downsize the c123 i just don't want an overheating problem. i'm new to these little engines and just want to be sure to do it right.
the old fellow that i bought my SA from said he bought it new in 48 and never had any work done on the engine. he said he put in a new clutch and rebuilt the hydraulics but nothing on the engine. i'm not gonna tear that head off until something goes wrong. if i buy the other one i just want to get the correct rebuild parts for the future. thanks, greg
