My '41 B has a sheetmetal pointer attached to the flywheel cover instead of the cast pointer. My '45 A has the cast pointer. Don't know when they made the switch. In either case, it might take some work with a wire brush to locate the mark on the flywheel. Mine was hidden under a layer of rust and crud, mostly because of the mouse nest that had been built in the clutch housing.
