Sounds like quite a expensive problem. No offense but i have never liked the German diesels, Our 706 has a D-282 AMERICAN diesel, I love that tractor. I seriously have never heard anything good about those D-310 Germans. They may have a little more HP, but they throw reliablity out the window!!...My answer to your problem, put in a D-282, they are fuel effcient, and have smooth power threw the whole power band
