No, my tractor still has a generator, but the battery is 12v and there is a resistor. I would like to replace the generator with an alternator and go to a 12v coil. Does anything need to be done with the voltage regulator? Please email me any info you have on converting to 12v. Do you happen to have the Napa part #'s for the coil, alternator, cap, rotor, and points?
