David, Don't feel bad, I don't have good luck with pulleys either. I've broken them before too. You might also look at OTC tools, they have bearing splitters and a special pulley puller that clamps down in the "vee" groove and spreads the force. It might be just the ticket and should save $ over Snap-on. I've had trouble geeing a bearing splitter up tight against the back of the pulley, but that was on a cub and you have more rooom on the C113. I haven't tried the pulley puller yet.
