Stats 1952 farmall cub ser# 151xxx. Pulled off the hedgerow last year. Motor not stuck Oil in the pan a little black but not bad. Compression #1 65 #2 63 #3 59 #4 60 Anti freeze tested -20f. Valves lash within specs. The owner said that it ran when he parked it there 7 years ago. I rebuilt the carb and changed all the fluids, new plugs, tested wires, etc, etc. I've worked on many of these old tractors but never a Cub. This tractor starts like a dream and runs very well. But after and new filter and 30w oil I still have no oil pressure. (when it runs for 1 minute) I did not check the oil pump since that would require a tractor split. I removed the oil pan and checked the screen it was fine. I removed the oil pressure guage and tested it with the air gun; it works fine. I removed the oil pressure regulator and the one plunger at the end of the spring seems to be a little out of round but with a magnet it moves in and out ok. Am I missing something or is the oil pump in this tractor bad. Thank you in advance for all your help. Mark
