Yes, the 574 has open center system. The pump has 12 gpm, a flow divider allow 3 gpm for the steering. You have 9 gpm in the remote control for your log splitter. With an 4 inch cylinder , that's work great at 1600 rpm. You may change the pump gear for add 3 gpm over.
