I located my IH LIFTALL service manual for someone else today. It says," When these rods (the front cylinders) can move no further the oil pressure continues to rise until it reachs 425 to 475 psi. When this pressure is reached, the delayed lift valve, which is located in the oil line to the rear power cylinder is forced off its seat, the oil then passes into the rear power cylinder, etc. According to the schematics, the delayed action valve is mounted external of the hydraulic pump. The max pressure for this system is 800 psi. It appears that you can drop the control lever ALL of the way and front and rear ports will dump pressure at the same time.
