IH 37 46 disc harrows any good?

I was looking at a 37 and 46 disc,they look fairly light but were they good disc? Were they mostly used as a finish disc,would they break ground or would you have to put some weight on them and then would it be hard on the frame don't won't to bend it they are 12 ft with 18 inch blades and 7 inch spacing any help would be appreciated.
