The sediment bowl assembly is threaded in to the bottom of the tank. Remove the fuel line to the carb, then just unscrew it. Yeah, easier said than done, but you won't break the tank, and if you break off the sediment bowl assembly, they can be replace for about 25 bucks, but I don't think you'll break that either. It screws into a 3/8 NPT hole in the tank. I ended up having to use a pipe wrench on my '41 B, but the assembly needed replacing anyway, so I didn't care if I boogered up the housing.
