The air cleaner is on the left hand side of the engine towards the back. It is about 4-6" in diameter. It should have a smaller 1" (ish) pipe coming out of the top of it and extending through the hood. The pre-cleaner should be on the top of that pipe and should pull off (straight up). The bottom of the air cleaner is removeable. There is a clamp about 3" from the bottom. Undo the bottom and remove, clean it and refill with clean motor oil (due to the temp. I'd reccomend 10wt.).
